In the early 1990's COADS experimented with the use of Window based solutions and its first development was a multi-user resort and accommodation system covering guests reservation, guest accounts and unit owners periodical distribution and reporting.
After this successful development in 1996, COADS started to rewrite previously DOS based solutions to a window environment. The first of its major development was to provide a multi-user transport solution for carriers, a flexible multi-carrier freight dispatch system for businesses and a system for Freight consultants and brokers.
This development covered all required systems by a Transport company including accounting, payroll and electronic acceptance of data from customers in any readable format.
The development of this transport project included substantial review of systems, procedures, service and document flow from customers dispatch, carriers pickup, sorting of freight at depot, Accounting and rating of consignment note, manifesting to on-forward agents, delivery, Customer Service, Proof of Delivery and Customer Invoicing, credit controller functions, payment to suppliers and on-forward Agents.
