Its founder established COADS in the early 1980's. After many years of developing solutions on large computer mainframes the developer of COADS became fascinated by the potential power of personal computers.

He used his knowledge and experience gained with working on large computer projects to develop practical computer solutions for first time computer users.

The DOS based tools were not as sophisticated as the development tools of today, however he was able to develop effective and efficient solutions for transport companies, medium sized plumbing contractors, construction businesses, wholesalers and distributors, Consultants, importers, product promotional businesses, clubs, membership and subscriptions, Hotels, Property developers and Sales and printing companies.

The first product developed back in 1984 is still running with a company that embraced COADS and its concept of developing flexible and stable solutions.
